1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the WP Security Auditor service ("Service") provided by itbit.cc ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

WP Security Auditor provides automated security scanning, vulnerability assessment, and remediation guidance for WordPress websites. The Service includes free scans covering well-known attack vectors and paid tiers offering extended scanning, remediation plans, and automated fixes.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features, you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You shall not:

Scan websites you do not own or have explicit authorization to test.
Use the Service to exploit discovered vulnerabilities.
Attempt to circumvent rate limits, access controls, or security measures.
Resell, redistribute, or sublicense the Service without prior written consent.

5. Payments and Subscriptions

Paid features are billed in EUR through Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. One-time purchases are non-recurring. You may manage your billing via the customer portal accessible from your dashboard.

6. Refund Policy

All purchases are eligible for a full refund within 14 days of payment, no questions asked. Refunds for Remediation Plans result in a 30-day account deactivation period, during which you may reactivate your account by repurchasing the product. After 30 days, reactivation is no longer available. Refunds for Security Checkup and Hardening products will trigger an automatic system restoration to revert any changes made to your WordPress site. A second refund request will result in a permanent ban from creating new accounts.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that scans will detect all vulnerabilities. The free scan explicitly covers only well-known vectors and is not a comprehensive security audit.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, itbit.cc shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to data loss, security breaches, or business interruption.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, and technology comprising the Service are the property of itbit.cc. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without explicit written permission.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any reason at our sole discretion. Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases immediately.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify registered users of material changes via email.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. itbit.cc is the trading name of Attila Bognar-Tarjanyi, registered as a sole trader in the United Kingdom. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
